4 BOXES. 4 TEAMS. 6 MONTHS. ONE RACE AROUND AUSTRALIA.

An Australian travelling competition byAll 4 Good Wins.

RACE PERIOD

1 JANUARY – 30 JUNE 2027

HOW THE RACE WORKS

TAKE IT. SCAN IT. CHECK IT IN. MOVE IT. PASS IT ON. GET IT HOME.

Four physical boxes will travel around Australia for six months, passed from traveller to traveller. Every verified check-in moves a box through the race and adds another person to its team.

Nobody — including us — knows where they will go.

THE PRIZE

THE ULTIMATEAUSTRALIANADVENTURE PACK

ONE WINNING TEAM. ONE FINAL DRAW. ONE ULTIMATE PACK.

The first fully qualified box physically returned to All 4 Good Wins and verified by Race Control determines the winning team. Every eligible verified member of that team goes into the final draw, with one participant taking home the Ultimate Australian Adventure Pack.

THE PACK IS STILL GROWING.

15 PRIZE PARTNERS AND COUNTING.

Experiences, tours and attractions from Australian businesses are already joining the pack, with more Prize Partners and contributions to come.

THE BUSINESSES BEHIND THE RACE

MEET OUR PRIZE PARTNERS

A huge thank you to the businesses getting behind The Great Australian Box Race. Their support is helping us build the Ultimate Australian Adventure Pack — giving one lucky winner the chance to explore Australia through an incredible collection of adventures, attractions and experiences.

LIVE RACE DASHBOARD

FOUR BOXES. FOUR RACES. ONE AUSTRALIA.

Every box's progress is calculated live from verified check-ins. There is no points system — the race is decided by qualification and which qualified box physically reaches All 4 Good Wins first. The qualifying 15 challenges must include at least 2 from each of the five challenge categories.

HOW THE RACE WORKS — IN DETAIL

TAKE IT. SCAN IT. CHECK IT IN. MOVE IT. PASS IT ON. GET IT HOME.

1. TAKE IT

Someone hands you a race box. You are now part of that box’s team.

2. SCAN IT

Scan the QR code on the box — it opens that exact box’s check-in.

3. CHECK IT IN

Log your location, complete your logbook ticket entry and add a photo.

4. MOVE IT

Take the box on your travels — a day, a week, a whole leg of Australia.

5. PASS IT ON

Hand the box to another traveller so the journey continues.

6. GET IT HOME

A fully qualified box races for the finish line: back to All 4 Good Wins.

QUALIFY FIRST. THEN RACE HOME.

JOINING A TEAM

SCAN IT. CHECK IT IN. JOIN THE TEAM.

Every person who legitimately checks in a box becomes part of that box's team — and stays part of it for the whole race, including Home Run Mode. Receive A4K-27 and you are Team Kyle. Receive A4T-27 and you are Team Tara. Simple.

TAKE IT. TRACK IT. MOVE IT. PASS IT ON. GET IT HOME.

HOW A BOX QUALIFIES

A BOX CANNOT SIMPLY DRIVE HOME.

Before a box can win, it must complete ALL 4 qualifying requirements. Progress is calculated live from verified records.

6

JURISDICTIONS

Verified travel through at least 6 Australian states or territories. Tasmania counts as one, but Tasmania is not mandatory.

JURISDICTIONS 4 / 6

25

VERIFIED HANDOVERS

One legitimate participant passes the box to another, and the new holder successfully checks it in. Only verified handovers count.

OFFICIAL CHALLENGES

Complete 15 challenges to qualify. At least 2 must be completed from each of the 5 categories. The remaining 5 can come from any category.

1

PRIZE PARTNER PIT STOP

Every box must physically visit at least one official Box Race Prize Partner before it can qualify for Home Run Mode. Check the box in at the partner and add a photo — Race Control verifies the visit. The partner does not need staff available or to personally verify it.

PIT STOPS 0 / 1

THE QUALIFYING 15 MUST INCLUDE AT LEAST 2 COMPLETED CHALLENGES FROM EACH OF THE FIVE CHALLENGE CATEGORIES.

HOME RUN MODE

WHEN ALL 4 ARE DONE, THE REAL RACE STARTS.

QUALIFIED — HOME RUN MODE ACTIVE

THE QUALIFYING RUN IS COMPLETE.NOW GET THE BOX HOME.

The objective changes. The box must now physically reach All 4 Good Wins — a moving finish line, because our family travels Australia full-time.

People can still receive, move and check in the box during Home Run Mode. Every legitimate participant stays part of that box's existing team. There is no separate Home Run team.

The first fully qualified box physically returned to All 4 Good Wins and verified by Race Control wins The Great Australian Box Race.

GET IT HOME.

MEET THE FOUR TEAMS

EVERY BOX CARRIES A NAME.

Each box represents one member of the All 4 Good Wins family. Pick a team and follow it for the whole six months — every team's journey will be completely different.

THE OFFICIAL CHALLENGE BOARD

50 CHALLENGES. 15 REQUIRED.

Each box must complete 15 of the 50 official challenges to qualify — including at least 2 from each of the five challenge categories. Completing more is encouraged — for team status, bragging rights and the story of the race.

LEGENDARY ACHIEVEMENTS

TROPHIES FOR JOURNEYS AUSTRALIA WILL REMEMBER.

Legendary Achievements are rare prestige accomplishments — completely separate from the 50 official challenges. They do NOT count toward the required 15. They exist for status, bragging rights, storytelling and team rivalry.

Locked trophies grey out until a team earns them and Race Control verifies. Each team page carries its full trophy cabinet.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

JUST BEEN HANDED A BOX?

You are now part of The Great Australian Box Race. Here is everything you need to do — it only takes a few minutes.

1. YOU HAVE A BOX

Someone handed you a race box. Keep it safe, keep it moving, and keep its logbook going.

2. SCAN THE QR CODE

The QR code on the box opens this exact box’s check-in — no searching required.

3. FILL IN YOUR TICKET & CHECK IN

Complete the numbered tear-out ticket in the box’s logbook, then submit the digital check-in with the matching ticket number.

4. ADD A PHOTO & YOUR STORY

Where the box is, who you are, and a few words about your leg of the journey.

5. MOVE IT & PASS IT ON

Carry the box on your travels, then hand it to another traveller so the race continues.

REMOTE AUSTRALIA

NO SERVICE? NO PROBLEM.

This race travels through remote Australia. Lack of mobile reception will never stop it — the physical logbook is the box's offline record, and delayed digital check-ins keep the journey in the correct chronological order.

  1. 1Complete the physical numbered logbook/ticket entry.
  2. 2Record the actual date and location.
  3. 3Take any required photos or evidence offline.
  4. 4Continue moving the box if appropriate.
  5. 5When reception returns, submit the digital check-in retrospectively.
  6. 6Use the ORIGINAL handover/check-in date and location.
  7. 7Enter the matching physical ticket number — Race Control verifies the delayed entry.

THE RACE NEVER WAITS FOR SIGNAL.

RULES & FAQ

THE RULES ARE SIMPLE. THE RACE IS NOT.

RACE PERIOD

The Great Australian Box Race launches at midnight AEDT on 1 January 2027 and is scheduled to run until 30 June 2027. The race only ends early when a fully qualified box is physically returned to All 4 Good Wins and verified by Race Control.

RACE RULES

1. QUALIFY FIRST. THEN RACE HOME.

The relay is simple: TAKE IT, SCAN IT, CHECK IT IN, MOVE IT, PASS IT ON — then, once a box has completed ALL 4 qualification requirements, GET IT HOME. Qualifying alone does not win the race: the first fully qualified box physically returned to All 4 Good Wins and verified by Race Control wins The Great Australian Box Race.

2. ONE BOX, ONE HOLDER

Only one person holds a box at a time. If you have the box, you are the box's current holder — keep it safe and keep it moving.

3. KEEP THE LOGBOOK GOING

Every participant completes a numbered tear-out ticket in the box's physical logbook and enters the matching ticket number in their digital check-in. The logbook is the race's offline backup and audit trail.

4. LEGITIMATE HANDOVERS ONLY

Only genuine, verified person-to-person handovers count toward the 25 required. Every check-in is reviewed by Race Control before it counts.

5. CHECK IN EVERY HOLDER

Every holder must complete a digital check-in (or retrospective offline check-in) so the box's journey can be followed and verified end to end.

6. LOOK AFTER WHAT'S INSIDE

The box itself is meant to travel Australia and look like it has. Dust, dirt, mud, scratches and normal wear are all part of the adventure. Just look after the logbook, race materials and anything else inside the box. Keep the contents reasonably dry, together and in usable condition for the next person.

7. KEEP IT MOVING — SEVEN DAYS

Aim to keep a box for no longer than 7 days before passing it on so the relay keeps moving. Race Control may allow reasonable exceptions for genuine circumstances, and a genuine unavoidable delay will not automatically disqualify you. Never deliberately withhold a box to prevent progress, steal or hide it indefinitely, damage it, tamper with its QR code or logbook, sabotage another team, or deliberately place it somewhere unsafe or unreasonably difficult to recover.

8. RACE SAFELY

Never break road rules, enter closed areas or take risks to complete a challenge. The race ends if you get hurt — every challenge can be completed safely or not at all.

9. RACE CONTROL IS FINAL

All verification decisions — including handovers, jurisdictions, challenges and the final return — are made by Race Control and are final.

10. PRIVACY

Participant contact details are used only for race verification and the final prize draw, and are never published. The public race record shows display names and approximate locations only.
