We're the Goodwin family — a family on the road, learning as we go, and choosing a life shaped by time together rather than time chasing the next thing.

What began as simple weekend camping trips slowly grew into something we didn't know we were missing. Somewhere between dusty tracks, campfire dinners, and mornings that didn't start with alarms, we realised this way of living felt right.

Who we are

I'm Kyle. I spent 20 years working in the electronic security systems industry, including 15 years running my own business. Tara has been just as committed, deeply involved in our kids' school community as a school parent club president. We've both been busy, building careers, supporting others, and doing what needed to be done.

At some point, we decided it was time to slow down.

Now, with our 4WD and caravan in tow, we've stepped away from the daily rush and into a life guided by curiosity, connection, and presence. We're not chasing the best places or ticking off must-see lists. We're here for the moments in between — the lessons learned on the road, the conversations around the fire, the ordinary days that turn into lifelong memories.
