When you're towing a caravan, the tyres you're probably most interested in keeping an eye on are also the ones you can't see or feel particularly well from the driver's seat. That's exactly why we fitted an iCheckTPMS system to our caravan. We run a 5-sensor setup, monitoring the four caravan tyres plus the spare. We use it specifically for live tyre pressure and temperature monitoring — we don't run the additional wheel-bearing temperature sensors. It's a relatively simple addition to the touring setup, but it's one that gives us useful information every kilometre we're towing.
